In that morning
It rised a dark sun
That lighted a dark day.
And darkness lasted through a long dark night,
And just when we thought
That darkness had taken place,
Tomorrow came.
And with it came a yellow sun
That lighted the shadows away.
And, clearly now, I can see hope
Once again hovering in the air.
